Sreen-printing, also referred to as silk-screening, is a process used to print designs on fabric. To transfer your artwork onto the product of your choice, a finely woven mesh screen of your artwork is stretched over a frame and laid over the fabric. Colored ink is then applied and pushed through the screen onto the fabric with a squeegee. In order to give you the best results, we do all our screen printing by hand.
We offer CMYK and multi-colored screen-printing on polyester and nylon. Each material has its advantages; nylon has a surface sheen and is smoother to the touch, but screen-printing has longer-lasting results on polyester. Our representatives will be happy to help you choose the material which best suits your needs.
The per-unit price for screen-printing is generally close to constant regardless of quantity, so it is a great choice for small quantity or low-budget orders. Screen-printing is usually only done on one side of the lanyard duo to cost.
Screen-printing requires that a clean margin (no printing) of 2mm be left around all the edges. If you wish to leave no margin, heat-transfer printing is the best option.
